Do you use cPanel now or are you planning to use it?
Blogs are so easy to set up with fantastico and cpanel. The msql data base is set up automatically and the entire process is completed with ease. Fantastico and cpanel sure do make setting up a blog easy, compared to the old manual install method. However wordpress has generally be pretty straight forward with its installation.

You know I love cPanel and Wordpress. When you are looking for a hosting company I really enjoy cPanel.
